Technical possibilities
Doubling
Our doubling department processes 6", 8" and 10" up to 10-ply with a spool weight of up to 6 kg.
Two-for-one twisting
We have 15 two-for-one twisting machines and manufacture 6", 8" and 10". We mainly produce twisted yarns from staple yarn in thicknesses of Nm 1–100. her.
Ring twisting
In the ring-spun yarn sector, we have 25 machines in the formats 180 mm, 200 mm, and 250 mm. This enables us to offer a wide range of thicknesses and designs in both staple yarn and continuous filament yarn.
Winding
With over 800 winding stations, our winding facility offers almost all standard packaging and core formats.
Dyeing plant
The yarn dyeing company TFH Textilausrüstungs GmbH is part of the Nikol Weber twisting mill and dyes and finishes our yarns and threads.
Efficient manufacturing
We operate in three shifts and achieve a daily capacity of approximately 15 tons per day in all areas.
Contract twisting & contract winding
Our machinery in the twin-wire and ring-twisting mill enables us to offer almost all designs, including in the contract manufacturing business. The same applies to our winding mill, which can respond flexibly to customer requirements.

Tea bag strings
We supply the packaging industry with high-quality tea bag strings that are suitable for all common machine types:

We use a wide range of raw yarns to manufacture our packaging yarns: polypropylene (PP), polylactate (PLA), staple fiber and filament yarn, as well as combed or carded cotton, including organic quality and GOTS-certified variants.

Sausage strings
We manufacture sausage strings that are used in both craft and industrial processing. These include products made from a wide variety of yarns and colors. We mainly use natural fiber yarns such as cotton, linen, hemp, and nettle, as well as synthetic raw yarns made from polyester or polypropylene. We extrude the polypropylene tape ourselves at Westfalia in Minden, which enables us to achieve consistently high quality across a wide range of strengths and colors. We also manufacture natural fiber yarns and twisted yarns, both natural and dyed.
Thanks to our in-house dyeing plant (TFH Helmbrechts) we can ensure that all production processes meet the high requirements for food compliance. This is additionally confirmed by external, accredited testing laboratories.

Packaging yarn (especially sack sewing yarn & sack sewing thread)
Our standard products for the packaging industry include polyester thread, which is used in bagging machines, among other things. We also offer 200-gram cones for hand sewing machines. Our range can be completed with matching filling cords on request.
We supply sack sewing thread in raw white or colored, oiled, paraffin-coated, or dry – on precision spools up to 6 kg. The materials available are polyester (Nm 20/3, 20/4, 20/5, 20/6) and cotton (Nm 5/9, sealing thread). The packaging ranges from 200 g pointed cones to 10 kg 10-inch cones, suitable for hand sewing machines or industrial applications.

Cable yarn
Our cable yarn includes filling threads and cable filling yarn, tear threads (coated or uncoated), retaining spirals, and marking spirals, printed or unprinted. We also offer core elements made of polypropylene or BCF.
We supply the yarn in raw white or dyed on conical or cylindrical spools in all standard sizes. The materials used are aramid, polyester, cotton, viscose, rayon, polyamide, polypropylene, and BCF.

Bandaging thread
Our bandaging thread is made of high-strength PES multifilament yarn and is available in various shrink types.
We offer it in raw white or dyed, on conical or cylindrical spools in all standard sizes. We use high-quality polyester filament yarn as the material, which ensures reliable and durable sewing.
